Board of Directors

Rachna Satrei is governed by a board of directors that comprise leading professionals in the fields of Management, Law, Political Sciences and Public Administration 

Mrs. Nhean Phoung Maly 

Mrs. Nhean Phoung Maly is the Executive Director and Founder of Rachna Satrei. With an experience of over ten years in operations and executive leadership in Cambodia’s non-profit sector, Maly is also the Coordinator of Siem Reap NGO Network. Representing 150 local non-profits, this professional organization promotes democracy and good governance at local and national levels and advocates for a better civil society. Maly founded Rachna Satrei because of her passion for her home country and is a deeply committed advocate for Cambodia’s most disadvantaged groups: women, children and the disabled. She fights tirelessly for human rights, sustainable environment and a brighter future for Cambodia. Her areas of expertise include capacity and community development, organizational development and management, gender rights and public relations. 

She holds a Masters Degree in General Management and Accounting (Cambodia).

Ms Sophary Pich 

 

Ms Sophary Pich is a National Program Manager of a private business in the tourism industry for the provinces of Battambang, Siem Reap, Oddar Meachecy and Kampong where. She has experienced on communities development with international and local organizations in Cambodia. In particular, she has been a Program Unit Manager in Siem Reap (Managing over 80 persons) and in Kampong Cham (Managing over 30 persons). Moreover, she has also been a Provincial Program Manager in Siem Reap for Concern Worldwide.

 

She holds an MBA (Cambodia) and a General Management Certificate (England).

 Mrs. Chhum Sarany 

 

Mrs. Chhun Sarany is the Program Manager of Cambodia Women Crisis Center  (CWCC) in Siem Reap. She coordinates activities such as granting educational program scholarships, providing shelter to women in crisis, supporting women victim of abuses, providing basic legal services as well as vocational training. Previously she had been working as a Project Manager for Lutheran World Federation (LWF) in Battambang and Kampong Chhnang, Board of Director of Pheah Teuk Daung in Battambang and Program Manager for Advocacy and Policy Institute (API).

Mr Keo Sophat

As coordinator of Enpuku Friendship Association (EFA) Japan and Preah Vihear Association Japan (experience and education. He also has democracy the organization for three years to promote youth voice on ledMr Keo Sophat is an Executive Director of The Voice and Development of Children and Youths (VDCY). He had PVAJ), the projects Education for Cultural and Environmental Preservation of Preah Vihear World Cultural Heritage, Dissemination of Organic Farming at Newly Established Eco-Villages and Global Varnasrama Education, Social and Cultural Organization (GLOVESCO). As Project Coordinator for GLOVESCO in the Siem Reap province, his main roles and responsibilities include:

 

1. Research and identify organic farming opportunities, traditional land use and saving cows in the countryside;

2. Raise awareness of new practices in organic farming among the selected families/farmers;

3. Promote peace through Mantra Meditation, Buddhism and the Krishna Society to households, pagodas, schools and holy places.

 

Mr Sophat holds a Diploma in Social Development and Accountability (Cambodia).

Advisory Board

Mrs. Justine Trubey

VP Operations at Shapeways.com, the world's leading 3D Printing marketplace, Justine Trubey took a break from the private sector in 2016 to work on women’s issues, most recently volunteering with Rachna Satrei. Before that, She was SVP of Operations and Technology at Random House, the largest book publisher in the United States, and also worked on the KindleoutFormerly at Amazon.com. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Sethykun Neou 

Mr. Sethykun Neou is the Founder / Managing Director of Research and Development Operative (RDO), a freelance consulting organization providing research and capacity building services. He has years of experience in the field of education and community development where he worked for various projects throughout Cambodia. He is also a visiting lecturer in Management at university.

He holds a PhD in Management, Law and Political Science (Cambodia).

Mr. Minh Bunly 
Minh Bunly is a Program Coordinator and a Manager of Fishery Action Coalition Team (FACT) as well as a Freelancer Project Coordinator of Food Security for ADRA. He has years of experience in the field of education, community development, fishery and environment.Mr.

He holds a Phd in Agricultural Science (Cambodia).

Mr. Keo Viriya Mr. Keo Viriya is the Branch Manager of Buddhism for Development Organization (BFD) in Siem Reap. He works to promote economic empowerment and local good governance for a better Cambodian society. He has skills and experiences on strategic planning, project monitoring and evaluation, gender training and conflict management.
He attended courses on urban prevention of children trafficking and holds a Master of Law and Political Science (Cambodia).
